LOCAL 407 ELECTION RESULTS
On December 10th, the votes were tallied for the Local 407 Election. There was only one office where more than one person was running. That was the office of Local 407 President.
All other Officers and Agents were unopposed.
The membership of Local 407 spoke LOUD AND CLEAR!
There were 917 ballots counted. President Frank Burdell received 763 votes(83%).
Congratulations to President Frank Burdell for a decisive victory!
November has been a historic month. Workers ( both Union and non-union ) in our great State of Ohio were mobilized in an effort to repeal Senate Bill 5 and as a result Issue 2 was resoundingly defeated. Whether you canvassed door to door, phone banked or simply voted NO at the polls, working people in Ohio came together in a common cause.
Unfortunately, our work is not yet finished. Corporate pressure or anti-union/anti-worker pressure on our political system will not stop. We MUST be vigilant! Now as we have celebrated the Thanksgiving holiday with our loved ones, we turn our attention to the Christmas holiday and the wild world of RETAIL. We can do our part to keep Americans working by looking to buy Union and American made gifts for the holiday season.

Our regular monthly meeting for December has been rescheduled for december 18th because of the Christmas Holiday. We hope everyone has a safe holiday season.
